In the limited action he saw tonight against the Buffalo Bills, Redskins Rookie Quarterback Robert Griffin III performed about as good as
you could want a Rookie to perform. In just three series, he was sacked a
grand total of zero times, threw for just under 100 yards, and connected with
Pierre Garcon for a touchdown pass on a Wide Receiver screen pass.
His most impressive play by far was on a play action pass
where he froze a free defender by tucking the ball for a split second before
side arming it to an open receiver. Though incomplete, he avoided being touched
and managed to make his smart decision under duress.
