Bayless claimed that Redskins fans want Kirk Cousins to be the starting quarterback for the Redskins. I repeat. This is the most outrageous and bizarre comment ever. Show me ONE fan who wants Kirk Cousins to be the starting QB in DC. JUST ONE FAN.
Bayless thinks that Kirk Cousins is better than RG3 right now. More NFL ready. His reasons...a 4th quarter in a preseason game.
Then Bayless said the following bizarre comment:
"You also have the black/white dynamic and a majority of the Redskins fans are white, and it's just human nature to root if you are white for the white guy cuz it just happens in sports, just like the black community will root for the black quarterback"
What in the HELL is Skip Bayless talking about? RG3 vs Cousins is now a racial issue. And white fans want Kirk Cousins because he is white? INSANITY! That statement applies in some cases perhaps, not even close to this one.
If anyone went to Redskins training camp you can tell. Black fans, White fans, Alien fans, fans who live in a box, fans who live with a fox, fans who like Green Eggs and ham, want RG3 as their quarterback.
Stephen A. Smith ignored the entire Bayless black/white comment. However he did uncover a "pattern". Jason Campbell, Donovan McNabb, RG3. All black. The first two "mistreated". And RG3 needs to "watch out".
