D'Angelo Hall Lets A WR Off The Ground So He Could Go For The Strip

D'Angelo Hall is one of the strangest players in the NFL.  He gives up on plays, gives up on plays worse,  and wants to kill refs.

On Sunday against the Eagles, Hall was at it again, this time instead of touching an Eagles receiver that was down on the ground to end the play, Hall opted to stand next to him, wait for him to stand up, and try to strip him while he gained another couple yards.  GIF!

This is one of the most pathetic plays I've seen from anyone, and of course it comes via D'Angelo Hall. Earlier in the season he put up this effort on a play that led to a TD.  Then he tried to fight a ref.  Today he gets carried 20 yards by Anquan Boldin.

The effort was horrendous.  The player should be benched.  He grabs the shirt, hopes the guy runs out of bounds, then goes for a few weak strips.   I don't care if he is all you have.  You have to punish someone for that.  RG3 should punch him in the face.  GIF:

D'Angelo Hall Does More D'Angelo Hall

During a play where the refs somehow overturned an inadvertent whistle on a Carolina Panthers touchdown, the replay showed that D'Angelo Hall may have been held.  However D'Angleo Hall felt like he needed to flail his arms in the air begging for a call (from his good friends the refs) instead of fighting through the hold to make the tackle.  Well...just watch...

D'Angelo Hall Says F You To The Ref, Ejected

D'Angelo Hall spent most of Sunday's game diving on the ground not making tackles, but he finally made an impact late in the game.  After a play D-Hall took his helmet off as he talked to the ref.  The ref backed away but D'Angelo followed.  Hall pointed at the ref and said "F**k You".  He was then "excused" from the game (in the words of the official).

Hall had to be held back by his teammates as he continued to try to scream at the ref.  Fighting the ref...street cred...Gif after jump:
