Alexander Ovechkin Says Goodbye To Chris Cooley

On Tuesday, after Chris Cooley was released by the Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals center Alexander Ovechkin took to Twitter to say farewell to the Washington DC cult-hero.

I love it when the DC teams intermingle, makes me feel like DC is a great sports town.  When Bryce Harper was on the fan vote for the All-Star game some Wizards/Caps/Skins players went online to support him.  DC BABY!
